Sweet potatoes is good for heart and diabetes

                                          

Sweet potatoes are a hearty and healthy substitute for white potatoes especially for people concerned about diabetes.

With a low glycemic index,these spuds will not cause a quick spike in  blood sugar level.


Sweet potatoes contains ample fiber, vitamin A and lycopene which made it healthy for heart and diseases such as diabetes.



                              
NOTE

You can enhance their natural sweetness by adding cinnamon and lime juice instead of sugar.

Coffee and tea may help to protect your heart by warding off type 2 diabetes. Studies show that people who drink 3-4 cups a day may cut their risk by 25 percent. Even decaffeinated coffee works.
                                         
                                        

Caution:

Those who already have diabetes or hypertension should try to avoid coffee as caffeine can complicate these conditions.
